Only get a dog if you are going to be responsible for it and make sure you take care of it. Dogs can live for a while so you will have to be ready to need to take it out once (if it’s a long walk) or twice (you could do two short walks) a day. It’s not fair to leave a dog in a house for ages so you will also need to do some research into what places allow dogs.
